Seven days, and what we need from you
The build takes a day. We promise seven.
Your site goes live within seven days of us receiving your assets. Days one and two are structure, copy and schema. Days three and four are design and build. Days five to seven are three rounds of review, then we go live, map redirects and turn on lead tracking.
The seven day build, step by step
A 30 minute fit call
We run the qualification properly and tell you on the call whether we will take the work. If the answer is no, you get told why and what we would do instead. That is not a formality. We decline more than we accept.
The direction call
Bring three websites you like and be ready to say what you like about each. That is the whole design process. It is how we avoid a site that looks like everyone else’s without spending three weeks on mood boards you did not ask for.
You send the asset pack
Logo, brand colours, photos, team bios, your service list, any copy you want kept, plus access to Search Console, Analytics and your DNS. The seven days start when this lands, not when you sign. If it has not arrived within 14 days, your slot moves to the next month, because a half-built site helps nobody.
Structure, copy and the technical spine
We plan the page structure, write the copy, and lay out the schema. We also take a complete archive of your existing website and send you the file, before we change a single thing.
Design and build
The actual site, built on our own theme. No page builder, because page builders bloat the code and wreck the speed scores that AI crawlers and Google both care about.
Three rounds of review
One consolidated round of feedback equals one revision. Seven separate emails inside the same review window is still one revision, and we will say that kindly if it happens.
Live
Redirects mapped so you keep the rankings you already have. Lead tracking configured: form submissions, click-to-call, click-to-email, with notifications straight to you. Your AI visibility baseline measured and recorded, so there is a real before to compare against.
Pick a step, or use the arrow keys.
What we need from you
It is genuinely not much.
But we do need it, and we need it in one go. The fastest builds are the ones where everything arrives at once.
Logo and colours
Whatever you have. If you have nothing usable we will tell you and work around it.
Photos and bios
Real photos of real people beat stock every time, including with AI systems, which weigh author and organisation signals.
What you actually sell
A list, in your words. A paragraph each is plenty. We write the rest.
Search Console, Analytics, DNS
We need 12 months of Search Console history to measure against. No history, no honest baseline.
Named and priced, so it never becomes an argument
What is not included
- Pages beyond the agreed count
- New functionality: shops, booking engines, calculators, member areas, portals
- Third-party integrations beyond forms and analytics
- Restarting the design direction after review round one
None of these are refusals. They are quotes. Tell us on the first call and we will either price it properly or tell you honestly that we are the wrong build for it.
The bit other agencies get cagey about
Do you use AI to build the site?
Yes. And that is exactly why there is no build fee.
A custom website used to cost you six thousand dollars because it took someone six weeks. It does not any more, so we do not charge you for it. What you pay for is everything after: the content, the outreach, the citations, the measurement, and someone who knows what to do with all of it.
We would rather tell you that up front than have you find out.
And the content?
Different question, different answer. Articles are drafted fast and then directed by a human, which is me. Every post carries a real number or a first-hand opinion from you, because that is what makes a page worth citing rather than worth skimming. Generic content does not get quoted by anything, human or machine.
If you want to approve every word before it goes out, you can. Most clients read the first month closely and then stop, which is the correct trajectory.
When it actually lands
So when does this actually work?
Different parts land at different speeds, and anyone telling you it all happens at once is selling. Pick a point and see what is real by then.
Seven days from your assets landing
- Custom site live, all copy written, redirects mapped so you keep existing rankings
- Schema, answer-first structure, Core Web Vitals, llms.txt and AI crawler access
- Lead tracking on: forms, click-to-call, click-to-email, notified to you
- Your AI visibility baseline measured and recorded
- Your old site archived and the file sent to you
A site you are happy to send people to, and a real number for where you currently stand.
What not to expect: any change in traffic yet. Nothing has had time to be crawled, let alone cited.
The off-site foundation goes in
- 25 to 30 directory and citation placements, with byte-identical business details
- Google Business Profile and Bing Places fully populated, services listed, Q&A seeded
- Review request flow set up and running
- First 4 to 8 articles published, each carrying a real number or your first-hand opinion
- First outreach touches out, targeted at the sources your category actually cites
Enquiries counted from day one, so you can see the number even before it climbs. Search Console starting to show new pages indexed.
What not to expect: AI answers changing yet. This is the groundwork that makes the later part possible.
Search starts responding
- 12 to 24 articles live, building genuine topical coverage
- Citations and listings compounding, review count climbing
- First earned mentions landing on third-party sites
- Monthly report showing enquiries against your pre-launch baseline
This is usually where traffic and enquiries start moving. Impressions and clicks up in Search Console, and the enquiry line beginning to separate from the baseline.
Caveat: if nothing has moved at all by month four, that is the conversation to have, and we will start it rather than wait for you to.
The AI answer starts changing
- Enough third-party coverage exists that models have something to cite
- Topic ownership scores measurably shifting on the tracked prompts
- Cited-source list changing month to month, which is the tell that it is working
- Compounding, because every placement stays working after we stop paying attention to it
Being named in answers where you previously were not. This is the slowest return and the one worth the most.
The catch: this depends heavily on your category. If a national brand already owns your topics, we will have told you on the first call and declined the work.
